The Coemi-Skywing 50kW Wind Turbine is a worthy candidate for use at large PLCs and industrial units, large farms and manufacturing plants.
The Coemi-Skywing 50kW wind turbine is a direct grid connected to a three-phase mains power supply, making it ideal for large energy users and small wind farms.
Its massive 3-blade rotor has a 13.8 metre diameter using the latest in GFRP blade design technology with a fixed speed rotation of 65 revolutions per minute generating a maximum of 53kW.
Coemi-Skywing turbines use a unique hydraulic ram system to raise and lower the free-standing 18-meter galvanised tower and therefore do not require a crane for erection or servicing.

Efficiency
Direct grid connection means the Coemi-Skywing wind turbine does not require rectification, dump or inverter, making it up to 20% more efficient.
Safety
Powerful hydraulically operated Twin disc brakes and yaw motor ensure the rotor is stopped and turned out of the wind in a mains failure or very high wind protection against damage ensuring the longevity of blades and components.
Technological
The system is controlled by a Mitsubishi controller which monitors the wind speed, direction, load, mains voltage, mains cycle Hz and rotation speed.
GPRS is used to enable engineers to monitor and update the turbine remotely through the internet.
