State of the Art Technology
Coemi wind turbines represent the state-of-the-art in wind turbine technology. All of our products come with the latest technical and safety features to ensure that your machine is of the highest quality.
These include a tower that can be raised or lowered hydraulically without the need of a crane, an emergency braking system to stop or slow the rotor blades in high winds, and a hydraulically motorised head able to turn into or away from the wind, thus ensuring optimised performance.
GPRS technology even allows our specialist engineers to remotely monitor, access, and if necessary, adjust the operation of your wind turbine.
This is not only the market leader, but also easy to maintain. There are three fail safe systems, blade brakes, Normally on fail safe brake and a UPS backed Yaw System.
Uniquely, the Coemi 50kW and the Vestas 225kW wind turbines are asynchronous using an induction ABB generator which do not require inverters as with fixed magnet turbines.
Coemi Wind Turbines generate directly into the grid without the need for inverters and have a fixed rotation speed regardless of the wind speed. They are at least 20% more efficient and 100% reliable.
All Coemi turbines are 3-phase and designed for Farm and Commercial use.
If you have 3 phase mains supply the an asynchronous turbine makes sence in two ways, firstly they are 20% more efficient, secondly they are 100% reliable, no inverters to breakdown.
